Canaima Chill House is located 400 meters up a steep dirt road.
By Car
From San Jose, take the Caldera Highway west to Puntarenas. From there, take the ferry from Puntarenas across the Gulf of Nicoya to the town of Paquera.
Call ahead to check for schedule changes. (Ferry: Naviera Tambor tel. (2661-2084)
From Paquera, drive about 20 miles to Cobano, were you’ll follow signs for seven miles to Mal Pais and Santa Teresa.
From the main crossroad at Santa Teresa drive north until you pass Burguer Rancho restaurant and then turn right.
Drive up the hill 400 meters and you will find us on the right-hand side.

Once you land in Tambor airport you will have to take a taxi during 45 minutes to arrive to Canaima Chill House
There are two air companies that fly from San Jose To Tambor.
You can reserve your tickets through Canaima Chill House.
When you arrive to Tambor airport you will have to pick a taxi to Canaima Chill House hotel that we can organize for you.

By Bus
From San Jose Bus Station
Once you get to Santa Teresa get off the bus at Burguer Rancho restaurant.
You will see a road up the hill from across Selina Norte Hostel.
We are 400 meters on the right-hand side.
There are two direct buses from Terminal 7-10 Bus Station, in San José, to Santa Teresa.
The price is about $14 US (departing at 6AM and 2PM).
There is another bus from Cóbano to Santa Teresa, it takes about 45 minutes.
By Private Shuttle
We offer a scheduled daily shuttle service between San Jose and Santa Teresa, and Liberia and Santa Teresa.
This service is shared with other customers.
